脂联素与阿尔茨海默病相关性研究进展
Research progress on the correlation between adiponectin and Alzheimer's disease
摘要
Abstract
Adiponectin is an adipokine that plays an important role in regulating energy homeostasis,carbohydrate and lipid metabolism,and immune regulation.The correlation between Alzheimer's disease(AD)and body composition highlights the bidirectional dialogue between the pathophysiology of AD and metabolism disorders.This review aims to report the status quo of cellular and molecular mechanisms related to adiponectin and AD in preclinical research.Then,this article reviewed human studies evaluating the correlation between adiponectin levels and AD diagnosis.The study also elucidated the association between baseline adiponectin levels in participants and the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease,and the correlation between adiponectin and cognitive decline in AD patients.Human studies have shown diverse results regarding the correlation between AD and adiponectin levels,and the cross link between cognitive function and adiponectin levels.Through preclinical studies,it has been confirmed that adiponectin plays a neuroprotective role in several key mechanisms of AD.The discovery of adiponectin provides a new strategy for the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer's disease.关键词
