中药治疗牙周病的研究进展
Research progress in the treatment of periodontal diseases with traditional Chinese medicine
摘要
Abstract
Periodontal disease is a common condition that affects oral and overall health,often manifesting as gum redness,swelling,recession,bleeding,and pain.If not controlled,it can lead to tooth mobility and loss,increase the burden on the gastrointestinal tract,and affect the patient's social and psychological well-being.Additionally,periodontal disease interacts with diabetes,cardiovascular diseases,kidney diseases,and more.Clinical treatment methods mainly include local anti-inflammation and hemostasis analgesia.From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine,periodontal disease is often closely related to the stomach,intestines,spleen,and kidneys.The causes are mostly due to stomach and intestinal heat,blood stasis and heat,kidney yin deficiency,and insufficient qi and blood.The treatment should primarily focus on clearing heat and purging fire,nourishing yin and cooling blood,and tonifying qi and blood.In recent years,research using modern medical methods has demonstrated the unique efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in both local and systemic treatment of periodontal disease.This article reviews the research progress of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of periodontal disease.关键词
