Radiation protection measures for PET/CT and cyclotron projects

Abstract
With the popularization of these radioactive technologies in the medical field,ensuring the safety of equipment operation is crucial for protecting the health of workers,patients,and the public.This article focuses on evaluating and improving the actual effectiveness of current protective strategies.Exploring radiation protection measures in the use of positron emission tomography-computed tomography(PET/CT)and cyclotrons,a mixed methodology was adopted to examine the applicability and limitations of current protective measures by analyzing equipment shielding effectiveness,pollution treatment methods,and management measures.The results indicate that although the measures taken can reduce the risk of radiation exposure,there is still room for improvement in certain situations.The article emphasizes the importance of improving the quality of personnel training,developing detailed emergency plans,and encouraging technological innovation.The conclusion provides specific improvement suggestions aimed at improving existing protective measures and providing ideas for future work.In addition,there is a call for cross disciplinary cooperation and the use of technological advancements to promote further development of radiation safety management.关键词
