Abstract

This paper conducts a comprehensive analysis of the operational characteristics and causes of fluctuations in the triple-function system based on an air-source heat pump system in the Central Plains region,taking into account the climatic conditions of the region.By focusing on the experimental data obtained from four modes of operation:cooling,cooling and hot water production,heating,and hot water production alone,we explore the compressor's suction and discharge pressures,system superheat,and electronic expansion valve opening.The aim is to enhance the overall efficiency of the unit and ensure the safe operation of the system.The results indicate that in heating mode,the suction and discharge pressures of the system remain relatively stable,but the electronic expansion valve opening decreases and the superheat drops due to frosting.In cooling mode,the fluctuations in superheat and electronic expansion valve opening are stable.However,in both cooling and hot water production and hot water production alone modes,the reduction in liquid refrigerant in various circuits leads to an increase in superheat towards the end of the operation cycle.The discharge pressure continues to rise with the increase in water temperature,causing significant fluctuations in the electronic expansion valve opening.This high discharge pressure state is detrimental to the stable and safe operation of the system.
