Research progress on the etiological role of social stress factors in systemic lupus erythe-matosus
摘要
Abstract
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus(SLE)is a complex chronic autoimmune disease with a mul-tifactorial etiology involving genetic,immunological,and environmental factors.Social stress factors,encom-passing both social determinants and stressors,may play a distinctive role in the pathogenesis of SLE.Exposure to psychosocial stressors,such as depression and post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD),could potentially contribute to the onset of SLE through mechanisms of maladaptation.Therefore,enhancing our understanding of the etiology of SLE can serve as a foundation for the development,testing,and implementation of targeted in-terventions aimed at reducing the disease burden of SLE more effectively.This review focuses on the impact of social stress factors on the pathogenesis of SLE.By elucidating how social stress factors interact with genetic and immunological components,we can better understand the potential mechanisms through which these factors contribute to the risk of SLE development and the heterogeneity of the disease.关键词
