The Effect of Varieties on Scale Application of in vitro Embryo Production Technology for Lambs

Abstract
In this study,we collated and analyzed in vitro embryo transfer data from Blackhead Suffolk sheep,Whitehead Suffolk sheep and East Friesian-Cold(East Cold)crossbred lambs,with the aim of analyzing the effect of breed on the efficiency of in vitro embryo production in lambs.The average number of follicles in Donghan lambs was significantly higher than that in black Suffolk lambs(P＜0.05).The available oocyte rate of Donghan lambs was significantly greater than that of white-headed Suffolk and black-headed Suffolk lambs(P＜0.05).The average number of available oocytes of Donghan lambs was significantly greater than that of black-headed Suffolk lambs(P＜0.05),but there was no significant difference with white-headed Suffolk lambs(P＞0.05).The average number of A-class eggs of the Eastern Han lambs was significantly greater than that of the white-headed Suffolk and black-headed Suffolk lambs(P＞0.05).The in vitro embryo cleavage rate of white-headed Suffolk lambs was significantly greater than that of black-headed Suffolk and East Han lambs(P＜0.05),and the D6 blastocyst rate of East Han lambs was significantly greater than that of black-headed Suffolk lambs(P＜0.05).It can be seen that the efficiency of in vitro embryo transfer technology of Donghan lambs is the highest,and the efficiency of in vitro embryo transfer technology of blackhead Suffolk lambs is the worst,indicating that there are significant differences in hormone-induced follicular development,oocyte in vitro collection efficiency and in vitro embryo production efficiency among different breeds of lambs.When enterprises apply in vitro embryo transfer technology of lambs on a large scale,they should fully consider the differences of breeds and establish accurate in vitro embryo transfer technology schemes for different breeds.关键词
