Recent Advances in the Simultaneous Oestrus Following Timed Insemination in Ewes
摘要
Abstract
The sheep timed artificial insemination technique integrates simultaneous estrus and artificial insemination techniques to induce simultaneous estrus and synchronous ovulation in ewes so that artificial insemination can be carried out at a fixed time,or artificial insemination,natural mating or guided mating can be carried out according to the behavioral signs of estrus.The paper fo-cuses on summarizing the simultaneous estrus techniques,artificial insemination methods,timed insemination procedures,and the effect of repeated synchronous ovulation in non-pregnant ewes,which can provide a reference for solving the problems such as the lack of estrus in ewes,the low estrus rate in the non-breeding season,and the low fecundity rate of conventional artificial insemina-tion in the production of ewes,with a view to improving the pregnancy rate and the lambing rate of ewes in different production systems,and to promoting the reproduction of animals.关键词
