Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy of erbium laser combined with thalidomide in the treatment of recurrent oral ulcer and its impact on inflammatory factors.Methods A total of 126 patients with recurrent oral ulcers who attended the Stomatology Center,Suining Central Hospital from January 2023 to August 2024 were selected.They were divided into the control groupand study group using the random number table,with 63 cases per group.All patients were treated with thalidomide,and those in the study group were additionally treated with erbium laser.The treatment effect,ulcer healing time,ulcer recurrence,pain score,and inflammatory factor levels(interleukin 6[IL-6],IL-8,tumor necrosis factor alpha[TNF-α])of the two groups were evaluated after treatment.Results The total effective rate was significantly higher in the study group than the control group(95.24％vs.82.54％,P＜0.05).The ulcer healing time of the patients in the study group after treatment was significantly shorter than that of the control group(P＜0.05),and the ulcer recurrence rate in the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group in the 3-month follow-up after treatment(P＜0.05).After treatment,the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores in the both groups were significantly reduced,which were significantly lower in the study group than the control group(P＜0.05).The levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-8,were significantly reduced in both groups after treatment,which were significantly lower in the study group than the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Erbium laser combined with thalidomide in the treatment of recurrent oral ulcers significantly improves the therapeutic efficacy,promotes ulcer healing,reduces recurrence rate,alleviates pain,and effectively reduces the levels of inflammatory factors.关键词
