Application Effect of Shared Decision-making in the Treatment of Sepsis Patients with Blood Purification Technology
摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of shared decision-making among medical staff and patients in the treatment of sepsis using blood purification technology,and to provide a basis for the practical application of shared decision-making in intensive care unit(ICU)for clinical practice.Methods A total of 71 hospitalized patients diagnosed with sepsis who were admitted to the Intensive Care Medicine Department of Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University for more than 72 hours from June 2022 to March 2024 and required continuous blood purification treatment were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into the observation group(n=35)and control group(n=36)using a random number table.The Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(SOFA)score,laboratory testing findings(white blood cell count[WBC],procalcitonin[PCT])before and after blood purification,ICU mortality,28-day mortality discharge satisfaction,and unplanned weaning off blood filtration were compared between groups.Results There were significant differences in the 3-day SOFA score reduction,WBC and PCT before and after blood purification,ICU mortality,28-day mortality,discharge satisfaction,and unplanned weaning off removal of blood filtration between groups(P＜0.05).Conclusion The use of blood purification technology with a shared decision-making approach between medical staff and patients in the treatment of sepsis can effectively improve the disease condition,rapidly reduce SOFA scores,effectively reverse inflammatory indicators(e.g.,WBC,PCT),reduce ICU mortality and 28-day mortality,decrease the incidence of unplanned weaning off removal of blood filtration,and improves the discharge satisfaction.It is worthy of promotion and use.关键词
