摘要

Abstract

A new beryllium metallurgy method of low-temperature dissociation of beryllium ore plus physical purification based on HF system was proposed.For the removal and purification process of iron impurities in this method,the purification law and dissolution mechanism of FeF3 were investigated.The results show that in FeF3-H2O environment,FeF3 solubility is very small,while in HF environment,due to the formation of the ligand ions of F,H3FeF6 will be produced,which enhances the FeF3 solubility.When only BeF2 is added to the system,the presence of BeF2 in the solution will reduce the solubility of FeF3 to a certain extent.When the system contains BeF2 and additional HF,the formation of BeF42-ligand ions from BeF2 is promoted.When there is residual after HF and BeF2 form complexes,the remaining F-will contribute to the occurrence of the common ion effect,which will reduce the FeF3 solubility.BeF42-is preferentially generated when both Fe3+and Be2+are present in the solution,while the formation of H3FeF6 requires a higher concentration of HF.
