Abstract

In order to improve the tunneling efficiency of shield machine with suitable cutters combination under complex and variable strata,the adaptability of tool combination in a water diversion project was analyzed using numerical simulation and engineering data analysis,where the strata contains alternate mudstone and sandstone.The coupling effects of soft rock strength,tool combination mode,penetration depth and rotation speed on cooperated cutting performance were investigated.Based on the FAHP-TOPSIS evaluation method,the adaptability of the tool combination mode under different soft rock strength strata was quantitatively compared and analyzed,and the tool combination cutting mode with the best cutting performance under different strata was selected.The results show that the combination of tearing cutter and scraper with high rotation speed and low penetration is preferred under 5-20 MPa mudstone and the combination with disc cutter and scrapper with high rotation speed and low penetration mode is preferred under 30 MPa sandstone.The tunneling performance of shield using different tool combination in the actual engineering construction process is analyzed for verification.It can provide guidance for the geological adaptability selection of shield tool combination under complex geological conditions,so as to improve the efficiency of shield tunneling.
