Quality evaluation and grading standards of Cistanche deserticola seeds
摘要
Abstract
The objective was to establish a quality evaluation method and develop a grading standard for Cistanche deserticola seeds.The morphological characteristics,length,width,purity,thousand-seed weight,moisture content,and germination rate of Cistanche deserticola seeds were measured and analyzed by 10 batches of seeds from Jiuquan as the research subject.Correlation analysis and cluster analysis were applied to the data,and a grading standard for seed quality was formulated based on production practices.The results showed that Cistanche deserticola seeds were classified into three grades,gradeⅠseeds:germination rate≥80%,purity≥85%,thousand-seed weight≥0.11 g,moisture content≤4.0%,gradeⅡseeds:55%<germination rate<80%,70%<purity<85%,0.80 g<thousand-seed weight<0.11 g,4.0%<moisture content<6.0%,gradeⅢseeds:germination rate≤55%,purity≤70%,thousand-seed weight≤0.80 g,moisture content≥6.0%.This study provides a scientific basis for establishing a quality evaluation system for Cistanche deserticola seeds,which will contribute to the healthy development of the artificial cultivation industry for Cistanche deserticola.关键词
