摘要

Abstract

Ovine pulmonary adenomatosis is caused by Jaagsiekte sheep retrovirus into a chronic,progressive,contact infectious lung tumor disease,with a mortality rate of 100%.There is no vaccine against this disease,and the application of existing antiviral drugs have little effect,whole flock culling is mostly carried out on affected sheep farms,causing huge economic losses to the owners.In April 2024,sheep with symptoms of coughing,wheezing and runny,dyspnea were appeared on a farm in Ning County,Gansu,based on clinical symptoms such as cough and runny nose,anatomical changes such as nodules,edema,and fleshy changes in the lungs,and the results of RT-PCR pathogen testing of nasal swabs from diseased sheep,it was diagnosed as ovine pulmonary adenomatosis.Applying the theory of identification and treatment of Chinese veterinary medicine,the clinical manifestations of the sick sheep were analyzed and identified as wind-cold binding the lungs and spleen-lung Qi deficiency;herbs such as Radix Codonopsis Pilosulae,Herba Schizonepetae,Radix Bupleuri,Fructus Aurantii,Radix Glycyrrhizae and Semen Armeniacae Amarum were used to treat the sheep.The results showed that the compound formula could effectively control the disease,providing a reference method for the diagnosis and prevention of ovine pulmonary adenomatosis.
