Abstract

Aiming at the aerodynamic noise problem of the air cooling system of the vertical refrigerated display cabi-nets,the numerical simulation of the air duct was carried out by using Lighthill acoustic analogy theory,FW-H(Ffowcs Wil-liams-Hawkings)acoustic wave equation and finite element software Fluent.According to the numerical simulation results,the flow characteristics and aerodynamic noise characteristics of the axial flow fan were analyzed.The numerical simulation results show that the pressure difference on both sides of the fan causes a small amount of gas to flow back to the inlet along the blade tip clearance,and the vortex noise at the blade tip of the fan pressure surface is brought out from the inlet,which in-creases the aerodynamic noise of the air cooling system.The acoustic power of the aerodynamic noise is mainly distributed at the inlet of the duct plate wall surface and the blade tip area of the axial flow fan.The design schemes of nine air-cooled systems were determined by orthogonal experiments,and the effects of various parameters on the aerodynamic noise and in-let mass flow rate of the air-cooled system were studied.The experimental results show that the noise reduction effect of the four monitoring points of the vertical refrigerated display cabinet is obvious through the optimization design of the inlet di-ameter,the height of the air guide ring and the blade tip clearance.The noise test was carried out in the semi-anechoic cham-ber.The total sound pressure level of the rear measuring point is reduced by 5.79 dB(A).The research results may provide some reference for the noise reduction of the air cooling system of the vertical refrigerated display cabinets.
