非对称刚度非光滑能量阱激活阈值试验研究
Experimental Study on Activation Threshold of Non-smooth Nonlinear Energy Sink with Asymmetric Stiffness

Abstract
To solve the problem of ultra-high activation threshold in the vertical direction caused by the influence of gravity of the nonlinear energy sink(NES)with purely cubic stiffness,a non-smooth NES with asymmetric stiffness was con-structed by installing supporting spring units between the central mass block and the base of the NES.The dynamic response of the non-smooth NES was studied experimentally.A comparative analysis was conducted on the differences in the activa-tion threshold between the non-smooth NES and the purely cubic NES under harmonic excitation.The effects of the stiffness of the horizontal spring and the mass of the central mass block on the activation threshold of the non-smooth NES were ana-lyzed.The results show that the supporting spring units can effectively reduce the activation threshold of the purely cubic NES.By properly designing the spring stiffness and mass,the non-smooth NES can be applied to effectively suppress vibra-tions in different frequency bands.关键词
