Abstract
Objective:To explore the value of preventive nursing for elderly patients with varicose great saphenous vein treated by radiofrequency ablation.Method:A total of 90 elderly patients with varicose great saphenous vein who admitted to Fujian Medical University Affiliated Mindong Hospital from June 2023 to June 2024 were selected as the research objects,they were divided into control group and observation group according to the coin toss method,with 45 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with radiofrequency ablation and photon therapy instrument,the control group was given routine nursing,and the observation group was given preventive nursing on the basis of the control group.The operation and rehabilitation indexes,pain and varicose vein degree,negative emotion,quality of life and adverse events were compared between two groups.Result:The disappearance time of limb numbness,operation time and hospitalization time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);after intervention,the of visual analogue scale(VAS)scores,venous clinical severity score(VCSS),Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)scores and Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)scores in two groups were lower than those before intervention,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);after intervention,the SF-36 scores of two groups were higher than those before intervention,and that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the total incidence of adverse events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Preventive nursing for elderly patients with varicose great saphenous vein treated by radiofrequency ablation can shorten operation and rehabilitation indexes,alleviate pain symptoms,significantly improve negative emotions and quality of life,and reduce the incidence of adverse events.关键词
