Abstract
Objective:To explore the effects of Propofol combined with Dexmedetomidine on cognitive function in elderly patients after laparoscopic surgery.Method:The clinical data of 109 elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery in Yangjiang People's Hospital from April 2022 to April 2024 were retrospectively analyzed,and the patients were divided into control group(49 cases)and observation group(60 cases)according to the anesthesia plan.The control group was given Propofol anesthesia,and the observation group was given Propofol combined with Dexmedetomidine anesthesia.The surgical conditions and the cerebral oxygen saturation(SctO2)before induction(T1),after induction(T2),before pneumoperitoneum(T3),after pneumoperitoneum(T4),after surgery(T5)and after recovery(T6)between the two groups were recorded.Cognitive function[mini-mental state examination scale(MMSE)]were assessed 1 d before surgery,6 h,12 h,24 h and 7 d after surgery,and the incidence of postoperative cognitive dysfunction(POCD)was measured.Result:The recovery time and the consumption of Propofol in the observation group were less than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).SctO2 at T2,T3,T4,T5 and T6 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).MMSE scores in the both groups were lower at 6 h and 12 h after surgery than 1 d before surgery,and the scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of POCD in the observation group was lower than that in the control group within 12 h after operation and 24 h after operation,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Propofol combined with Dexmedetomidine can promote rapid recovery after laparoscopic surgery in elderly patients,reduce the use of Propofol,maintain the stability of SctO2,improve postoperative cognitive function,and reduce the risk of POCD.关键词
