Abstract
Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect of sertraline combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)on adolescent depression and its effect on cognitive function.Method:A total of 86 adolescent patients with depression admittted to the Second Affliated Hospital of Hubei University of Science and Technology from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects, and they were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 43 cases in each group. The control group was treated with sertraline alone, and the observation group was treated with sertraline combined with rTMS.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. The efficacy of the two groups was evaluated, and the scores of 17 items of Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD-17),Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90),Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(MoCA),Social Disability Screening Schedule(SDSS)and serum 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)and norepinephrine(NE)levels were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,HAMD-17 scores,SCL-90 scores and SDSS scores in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The MoCA score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of 5-HT and NE in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:rTMS combined with sertraline is effective in the treatment of adolescent depression, which can achieve effective symptom relief and cognitive function improvemen,up-regulation of 5-HT and NE expression may be one of its mechanisms.关键词
