Abstract
Objective:To investigate the anesthetic effect of ultrasound-guided iliac fascia block(FICB)combined with dexmedetomidine on elderly patients with femoral neck fractures.Method:78 elderly patients with femoral neck fractures admitted to Linyi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into Group A(39 cases)and Group B(39 cases)using a random number table method.Group A received FICB combined with dexmedetomidine,while Group B received only FICB.The anesthesia effects of the two groups were compared.Result:The blocking time of group A was shorter than that of group B,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Postoperative Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(MoCA)scores of both groups decreased first and then increased with time,and group A was higher than group B,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Postoperative Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores of both groups increased first and then decreased with time,and group A was lower than group B,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in hemodynamic indexes of group A at different time points of T0～T4(P>0.05).The hemodynamic indexes of group B increased first and then decreased at time points T0 to T4,and T1 and T2 were higher than those of group A,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in group B was higher than that in group A,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of FICB combined with dexmedetomidine anesthesia in elderly patients with femoral neck fractures can shorten block time,improve postoperative cognitive function,alleviate postoperative pain,stabilize hemodynamic related indicators,reduce adverse reactions,and have more advantages in clinical application compared to FICB alone.关键词
