摘要

Abstract

Objective:To predict the ecological suitability areas of Saussurea medusa in China,screen the main ecological factors affecting its growth and distribution,and provide a reference for the protection of wild resources of S.medusa and the site selection for its introduction and domestication.Methods:Sample information on the distribution of S.medusa in China was collected.The main ecological factors affecting the distribution of S.medusa were analyzed by the MaxEnt model and geographic information system software,and the ecological suitability areas were predicted.Results:The main ecological factors affecting the growth and development of S.medusa were altitude,precipitation in May,main vegetation types,precipitation in the driest month,average temperature in December,main soil type,gradient,and average temperature in February.The suitable growth areas of S.medusa were mainly distributed in northwest Sichuan,southwest and northwest Gansu,south and northeast Qinghai,and northeast Xizang.Conclusion:S.medusa can be planted in northwest Sichuan,southwest and northwest Gansu,south and northeast Qinghai,and northeast Xizang.
