益气活血舒筋方治疗腰椎间盘突出症气虚血瘀证的临床观察
Clinical Observation of Yiqi Huoxue Shujin Formula in the Treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation with Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis Syndrome

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the clinical effects of Yiqi Huoxue Shujin Formula in treating lumbar disc herniation with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 95 patients with lumbar disc herniation who visited Huangshi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from March 2021 to March 2024.Patients were divided into two groups based on treatment methods:the conventional group(47 cases)and the combined group(48 cases).The conventional group received routine Western medical treatments such as traction and oral Celecoxib,while the combined group received Yiqi Huoxue Shujin Formula in addition to the conventional treatments.Both groups were treated for 2 weeks.The following parameters were observed:TCM syndrome scores,serological markers,lumbar mobility,lumbar function,pain scores,clinical efficacy,and adverse reactions.Results:After treatment,the combined group had significantly lower TCM syndrome scores,Oswestry Disability Index(ODI),and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)pain scores compared to the conventional group(P<0.05).The combined group also had significantly lower levels of prostaglandin E2(PGE2),serotonin(5-HT),substance P(SP),and neuropeptide Y(NPY)compared to the conventional group(P<0.05).Moreover,the combined group showed significantly higher Japanese Orthopedic Association(JOA)scores and better lumbar flexion,side bending,and extension compared to the conventional group(P<0.05).The total clinical efficacy rate in the combined group was higher than in the conventional group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Yiqi Huoxue Shujin Formula can improve the therapeutic effect in patients with lumbar disc herniation and Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,reduce pain,improve lumbar mobility and function,and has a relatively high safety profile.关键词
