芩蒌清肺饮治疗痰热壅肺型社区获得性肺炎30例疗效观察
Clinical Effect of Qinlou Qingfei Decoction in Treatment of Community-acquired Pneumonia with the Syndrome of Phlegm-Heat Obstructing the Lung:An Analysis of 30 Cases

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Qinlou Qingfei Decoction combined with conventional Western medi-cine treatment in patients with community-acquired pneumonia(CAP)with the syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing the lung.Methods A total of 60 patients with non-severe CAP with the syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing the lung were randomly di-vided into observation group and control group,with 30 patients in each group.The patients in the control group received con-ventional Western medicine treatment,while those in the observation group received oral administration of Qinlou Qingfei Decoction in addition to the treatment in the control group;the course of treatment was 10 days for both groups.The two groups were compared in terms of time to disappearance of clinical symptoms and signs,Clinical Pulmonary Infection Score(CPIS),inflam-matory markers[white blood cell count(WBC),neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),and serum amyloid A(SAA)],clinical outcome,and adverse reactions.Results Compared with the control group,the observation group had a significantly shorter time to disappearance of major clinical symptoms and signs(pyrexi-a,cough,expectoration,and pulmonary rales)(P＜0.05).After treatment,both groups had significant reductions in CPIS and the levels of inflammatory markers(WBC,NLR,hs-CRP,IL-6,and SAA)(P＜0.05),and the observation group had significantly grea-ter reductions than the control group(P＜0.05).The observation group had a significantly better clinical outcome than the control group(P＜0.05).No serious adverse event was observed in either group during treatment.Conclusion Qinlou Qingfei Decoction combined with conventional Western medicine treatment can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and signs of CAP pa-tients with the syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing the lung and reduce CPIS and the levels of inflammatory markers,with a marked clinical effect and a favorable safety profile.关键词
