摘要

Abstract

In order to improve the conversion output efficiency of the vibration energy harvesters,a new self-powered and rectifier-free synchronized switching and discharging to a storage capacitor through an inductor(RF-SSDCI)interfaced circuit for piezoelectric energy harvesting is presented.The circuit contains a self-powered switching module consisting of only capacitors and transistors,eliminating the traditional rectifier bridge structure,which is more conducive to miniaturization and integration.When the output voltage across the piezoelectric element reaches a positive/negative peak,the circuit not only extracts energy through a single inductor,but also reduces the power loss by rectifying the structure so that the inductor charges the energy storage capacitor without switching control,reducing the im-pact of switching on time on the circuit power extraction.The RF-SSDCI achieves a maximum extraction power of 63.6 μW,which is nearly 109.2%and 135.5%higher than the standard energy harvesting(SEH)circuit and self-powered optimized synchronous charge ex-traction(SP-OSCE)circuit,respectively.
