Abstract

The distribution of remaining oil in multi-layer sandstone reservoirs in Daqing Placanticline Oilfield is scattered and small-scale,mainly distributed at the edge of the faults,the rapid sedimentary face transition areas,the perforating avoidance areas and the top of the thick layers.When horizontal wells are used for accurate potential tapping,the characteristics of remaining oil,reservoir and drilling technology need to be considered,and the optimization design is difficult.Through the establishment of a conceptual model reflecting the distribution of remaining oil,reservoir physical properties and drilling process characteristics,combined with the previous horizontal well potential tapping practice in Daqing Placanticline Oilfield,the horizontal section length,vertical position,azimuth and short radius sidetracking horizontal well completion method optimization method was studied.The optimal length and vertical position of the horizontal section are comprehensively determined from the aspects of recovery rate and single well production.The plane orientation of the horizontal section should be matched with the sedimentary type,sand body distribution characteristics and structural characteristics of the target layer to achieve better potential tapping effect.The conceptual numerical model of sidetracking horizontal well with short radius was established.Combined with the economic evaluation method,the reasonable completion method of sidetracking horizontal well was given.When the oil content of sidetracking target layer is high,the cement cementing method should be adopted in the build-up section to avoid the influence of interlayer interference on the potential tapping effect of sidetracking horizontal well.The research results can provide reference for the potential tapping of high water cut old oilfield.
