摘要

Abstract

In the process of measuring the water cut of well production using multiphase flow meters,the presence of gas phase significantly affects the measurement accuracy.Therefore,gas-liquid separation is necessary to improve the precision of water cut measurement.To enhance the separation performance,a pipeline gas-liquid separator based on the centrifugal swirl principle is designed,which is suitable for low gas content conditions.Numerical simulation methods are applied to conduct a significance analysis of the effects of different structural parameters on the separation performance of the pipeline gas-liquid separator.The internal flow field,pressure drop,and separation efficiency of the separator are analyzed to investigate the influence of structural parameters,inlet velocity,gas content,and split ratio on the separator's performance.The results indicate that the designed separator exhibits a stable internal flow field,and the droplet trajectories inside the separator are uniformly distributed.As the inlet velocity increases,the generated centrifugal force strengthens,leading to a more distinct gas-liquid interface and improved separation efficiency.These findings provide valuable guidance for the future design of gas-liquid separators and for determining operational conditions.
