Abstract

Acid fracturing manifold is widely used in oil field exploitation,which has many advantages such as improving production efficiency,reforming oil and gas reservoirs and increasing oil production.In the development of shale gas in Fuling,the premature leakage of an acid fracturing pipe manifold results in certain economic losses due to the stop of on-site construction.In order to solve the problem of spot acid fracturing pipe manifold leaking and give suggestions for improvement to recover economic loss and improve operation reliability,the method of numerical simulation research on crack propagation on inner wall of pipe manifold is carried out by means of macroscopic morphology observation,chemical composition detection,mechanical property test,hardness test,metallographic structure inspection,fracture micro-morphology observation and energy spectrum analysis,and ANSYS finite element software.The causes of leakage in acid fracturing manifold and the specific mode of propagation after formation of inner wall crack are analyzed.Finally,practical improvement suggestions are given.The results show that the erosion and wear mechanism is the fundamental mechanism for crack initiation on the inner wall of manifold.The erosion and wear of fracturing fluid cause grooves on the inner wall of manifold,and the stress concentration at the tip of grooves causes the source of cracks.Under the internal pressure of manifold,the cracks originate in the direction of length and depth and eventually penetrate the manifold and cause prickles.Therefore,fatigue fracture is the fundamental reason for the leakage of the manifold.Secondly,the root cause of grooves on the inner wall of manifold under the impact of erosion and wear of fracturing fluid is that the chemical composition of raw material of the pipe body is not up to the standard,which leads to the reduction of corrosion resistance.The corrosion fatigue of the inner wall of manifold is aggravated under the action of hydrochloric acid,which leads to the generation of inner wall grooves.Suggestions are given to improve the leakage of acid fracturing pipe manifolds in Fuling:the corrosion resistance of inner surface and material should be improved to improve fatigue life and avoid leakage accidents.
