Abstract
The cycloaliphatic epoxy resin(CEP)has excellent electric insulation,mechanical strength and weather resistance.If its toughness and hydrophobicity can be improved,it is expected to replace silicone rubber composite insulators,to solve the problem of sand erosion,bird pecking and trampling damage,so as to ensure the stable operation of transmission lines.In this work,a cycloaliphatic epoxy resin nanocomposite(SiO2/ESO-CE)modified by toughening of epoxidized soybean oil(ESO)was successfully prepared using bio-based ESO as a modifier and doped with silica nano-filler(SiO2).The chemical structure,mechanical properties,heat resistance,hydrophobicity and electrical insulation properties of the composites were systematically characterized and analyzed.The results show that the SiO2/ESO-CE composite has good mechanical properties,hydrophobicity and electrical insulation properties.When ESO is added at 20 phr,the synergistic effect between ESO and SiO2 is optimized,with the tensile strength and water contact angle reaching 67.37 MPa and 92.66°,an increase of 32.42%and 22.29%,respectively.At the same time,the AC breakdown strength of the composites reached 30.91 kV/mm,an increase of 59.08%compared to pure CE,and the volume resistivities were all higher than 1014 Ω·cm.关键词
