时变客流下灵活编组列车时刻表与车底运用协同优化
Collaborative optimization of flexible grouping train timetable and rolling stock circulation under time-varying passenger flow

Abstract
The spatial-temporal distribution of passenger flow varies significantly across different urban rail transit lines,especially suburban lines,which exhibit pronounced tidal variations in centripetal passenger flow.To address the mismatch between passenger demand and transport capacity during tidal flow periods,the co-optimization of train timetables and rolling stock circulation plans under a flexible grouping strategy was explored.Focusing on suburban urban rail transit lines with depots at both ends and aiming to minimize passenger waiting time and operational costs,a co-optimization model for flexible train timetables and rolling stock circulation under time-varying passenger flow was developed.The model was based on constraints such as train arrival and departure time,time-varying passenger flow,flexible train grouping,and rolling stock circulation.Considering fluctuating passenger demand and the asymmetry in transport organization,a simulation process was designed to calculate passenger arrivals,boarding,alighting,and train arrivals and departures in both directions.A hybrid solution algorithm,which combined a computer-based simulation method,a greedy strategy,micro-evolution,and the NSGA-II heuristic,was proposed.The Pareto optimal set offers decision-makers multiple optimized solutions,each suited to different strategic preferences.Finally,a case study was conducted on a suburban urban rail line.Results indicate that,compared to the current operational plan,the proposed flexible grouping and dynamic departure strategy reduce passenger waiting time by 24.24%and operational costs by 23.80%.The solution also alleviates passenger congestion in high-demand directions while minimizing resource wastage in low-demand directions,requiring fewer rolling stock units.The match between transport capacity and passenger demand in both directions is significantly improved,contributing to a win-win outcome for both passengers and the operating enterprise.关键词
