Abstract
Canine distemper virus(CDV)is a member of the Paramyxoviridae family and has a single nega-tive stranded RNA genome.Due to the susceptibility of its genetic material to mutation,canine distemper viruses exhibit high genetic diversity,which allows the virus to adapt to different host and environmental conditions.Canine distemper virus can be divided into several genotypes,and different genotypes of canine distemper virus have differences in host range,pathogenicity and vaccine effectiveness.The gene evolution of canine distemper virus is fast,and new mutations and recombination events occur constantly.This rapid genetic evolution not only allows the virus to evade the host's immune defense,but also leads to the contin-uous emergence of virus variants,which poses challenges for vaccine development and disease control.The study of canine distemper virus genetic diversity and genetic evolution is a multidisciplinary field,involving molecular biology,virology,immunology and other aspects.This paper introduces the genetic diversity and genetic evolution of canine distemper virus.关键词
