Abstract

According to the analysis of the sedimentary lithology,sedimentary facies,and paleogeography of the Quemocuo Formation of the Lower to Middle Jurassic in the Qiangtang Basin,the Quemocuo Formation in the northern Qiangtang Basin is an offshore terrigenous freshwater lake facies,which can be further divided into lake delta,lakeshore,lake flat,saline lake,and other subfacies.The lithologic combination of clastic rock,carbonate rock,and evaporite formed in the saltwater and brackish lake sedimentary environment of the Quemocuo period is beneficial for the formation and development of source rock.The sedimentary environment of gypsum salt rock and dolomite and conversion of gypsum to anhydrite can effectively improve the reservoir properties of the pre-salt carbonate rock.The plasticity and compactness of anhydrite can effectively protect the pre-salt oil and gas resources from the destruction of the neotectonic movement in the Qiangtang Basin.The salt-lake lithological association of the Quemocuo Formation in the Qiangtang Basin is a favorable area for oil and gas exploration,and the Baitanhu-Quemocuo rift trough is a favorable area for this type of oil and gas reservoir.
