Review of pumped thermal energy storage technology and application in district energy systems
摘要
Abstract
In the dual carbon background,pumped thermal energy storage(PTES)technology plays a key role in the district energy system by regulating the balance between energy supply and demand,improving the system's energy efficiency,and promoting the efficient utilization of renewable energy.Compared with other thermo-mechanical energy storage technologies,PTES technology has gradually become a research hotspot due to its high flexibility,high energy storage density,and efficient electric-heat-cooling energy conversion ca-pability,and it has been widely used in many fields.This paper first introduced the district energy system and PTES technology.Then,a comparative analysis of the current research status was conducted according to the classification of cycles(based on Brayton cycle and Rankine cycle)and heat storage/cold(sensible heat,la-tent heat).Based on the application scenarios,the application was sorted into three categories.This review summarized the current research findings and outlined the future research direction.Finally,the development prospects of the PTES system in the regional energy system were forecasted to help it realize green and low-carbonization.关键词
