摘要

Abstract

As the main load-bearing component,large H-shaped steel are widely used for bridges,offshore oil rigs and etc.To expose to highly humid and salty environment for a long time[1-2],the surface of large H-shaped steel shall be coated to extend its service life[3].The coating quality can be assured by mechanically repairing the existing defects such as unevenness,bending,burrs and etc.at the edges and corners of a large H-shaped steel flange plate.In view of the traditional manual polishing way characterized with low efficiency and poor quality,a new grinder was designed,which achieved a collaborative operation of XYY'ZZ'moving coordinates by combining a gantry frame structure with a double-headed moving structure.By automatically polishing four sides of H-shaped steel flange plate at the same time,the quality and efficiency were greatly improved.
