锑和锶掺杂碲化锡材料的热电特性研究
Research on thermoelectric characteristics of Sb and Sr doped SnTe materials

Abstract
To improve the thermoelectric characteristics of tin telluride(SnTe)materials,Sb and Sr doped SnTe-based thermoelectric materials were prepared by the solvothermal and spark plasma sintering methods.The phase characteristics were investigated and the corresponding theoretical calculation was carried out.The results show that the powder with the multiphase structure is transformed into a single-phase SnTe structure with homogeneous elemental distribution after high-temperature sintering.Sb and Sr co-doping can reduce the energy difference,which leads to the high Seebeck coefficients in Sn0.84Sb0.08Sr0.08Te.It also induces nano-precipitates,micro-nanopores,phase and crystal boundaries,which intensely scatters phonons at differ-ent wavelengths.The minimum lattice thermal conductivity is reduced from 0.82 W/(m·K)for SnTe to 0.60 W/(m·K)for Sn0.84Sb0.08Sr0.08Te,which is slightly more than the amorphous limit of SnTe.Sn0.84Sb0.08Sr0.08Te sample shows a low lattice thermal conductivity over a wide temperature range.Benefiting from the optimiza-tion of the electrical and thermal transport properties,Sn0.84Sb0.08Sr0.08Te achieves a maximum thermoelectric figure of merit of 0.50 at 773 K.Based on the low thermal conductivity by Sb and Sr co-doping,it is expected to realize excellent thermoelectric characteristics over wide temperature ranges with an efficient means of elec-trical transport regulation.关键词
