Application of Paired Associative Stimulation in Rehabilitation Therapy for Spinal Cord Injury:A Review
摘要
Abstract
Paired associative stimulation(PAS)is a new type of non-invasive nerve regulation technology,which combines transcranial magnetic stimulation and peripheral associative stimulation to achieve dual-target stimulation.PAS can produce Long-term potentiation(LTP)effect by repeatedly activating postsynaptic neurons and promote the repair of synaptic connections and nerve remodeling.In recent years,PAS has been applied to the rehabilitation of spinal cord injury,and its efficacy has been confirmed in clinical research.In this paper,the mechanism of PAS,the influence of stimulation parameters on the therapeutic effect,the clinical application in patients with spinal cord injury and the future development direction are reviewed.关键词
