Sensitivity evaluation of tight sandstone reservoir in the lower member of Kepingtage Formation in Shun-9 well area of Tarim Basin

Abstract
The tight sandstone reservoir of the Silurian Kalpintage Formation in Shun-9 well area of the Ta-rim Basin has a large burial depth,and is characterized by poor physical properties,relatively small pore-throat radii,etc.At present,the industry standards for the sensitivity evaluation are no longer applicable.Taking the lower sandstone reservoir of the Silurian Kepingtage Formation in the Shun-9 well area as the research object,an improved constant pressure fluid sensitivity experimental evaluation method is proposed.Nine representative samples from two wells are selected for velocity sensitivity,salt sensitivity,and acid sen-sitivity experimental evaluation.Research has found that the Kepingtage Formation in the Shun-9 well area belongs to a tight sandstone reservoir with ultra-low porosity and ultra-low permeability.The rock type is mainly lithic sandstone,and the reservoir space types are mainly primary pores,secondary pores,and frac-tures.The throat type is mainly a thin tube throat.The clay minerals are mainly composed of illite/smectite mixed layers,chlorite/smectite mixed layers,illite and chlorite.The tight reservoir in the study area has a moderately weak velocity sensitivity,a relatively low degree of salt sensitivity damage,and a relatively strong degree of acid sensitivity damage.By comparing the sensitivity evaluation methods of various types,it is confirmed that the improved constant pressure displacement method can solve the problem of exceeding the pressure gradient of constant velocity displacement in reservoir sensitivity evaluation standards,reduce experimental errors,be easy to operate,and have high feasibility.The types and contents of clay minerals,pore structure,and physical property characteristics are the main factors causing the reservoir sensitivity in the study area.The research results provide an important basis for the development of tight sandstone reser-voirs in this region.关键词
