3D acid fracturing technique for ultra-deep fractured-vuggy carbonate reservoirs in Fuman Oilfield of Tarim Basin

Abstract
The ultra-deep burial,ultra-high temperature,developed fractured-vugs and large vertical oil column height of carbonate reservoirs in Fuman Oilfield of Tarim Basin cause complex engineering geological conditions with huge challenge for acid fracturing stimulation.Aiming at the difficulties,3D acid fracturing technique is pro-posed through geoscience-engineering integrated fine reservoir evaluation to form complex fractured-vuggy assem-blages of hydraulic fractures+natural fractures+dissolved vugs,realizing 3D stimulation of reservoirs in both verti-cal and horizontal directions.The results show that,combination of high and low viscosity fluids with partitioned dissolution in far,medium,and near wellbore zones can get deep etching of hydraulic fractures+natural fractures.Operation parameters designed by integrated parameter design method guided by fractured vugs meet the require-ment of producing fractured-vuggy assemblages.Meanwhile,well completion technique with large-diameter tube running in shallow interval and wellhead with matching pressure-bearing capacity of 140 MPa ensure 3D acid frac-turing operation with high flow rate.Application of 3D acid fracturing stimulation technique can significantly im-prove the effect of ultra-deep carbonate acid fracturing,meeting the requirement for vertical and horizontal deep stimulation of fault-controlled vuggy reservoirs.Field application shows average single-well initial production of 260 m3/d after stimulation,effectively supporting exploration and development of Fuman Oilfield.3D acid fractur-ing technique for carbonate reservoirs can significantly improve acid fracturing effect and provide reference for stim-ulation of similar reservoirs.关键词
