薄皮甜瓜'常甜六号'的选育与高产栽培技术
Breeding and High-Yield Cultivation Techniques of Thin-Skinned Melon'Changtian No.6'

Abstract
This article introduces the breeding process,characteristics,and high-yield cultivation techniques of thin-skinned melon'Changtian No.6',so as to provide reference for the promotion of this variety.'Changtian No.6'is a new high-quality thin-skinned melon variety developed through hybridization between the excellent inbred line D2011 and j108,and it is early maturing,with the pear-shaped fruit weighing 830 g.The skin is yellowish-green,smooth and slightly ridged,while the flesh is light reddish-green,crisp,sweet and refreshing,with the yield of approximately 20 580 kg/hm2.It was registered as a non-major crop variety by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in 2023,with the registration number of GPD Melon(2023)430024.'Changtian No.6'is suitable for open-field or greenhouse cultivation in the thin-skinned melon production areas of the Yangtze River basin.For greenhouse cultivation,seeds can be sown in spring and autumn.Two kinds of organic fertilizers and two kinds of inorganic fertilizers are applied as bottom fertilizers,and the seedling raising method of trays and hanging vine cultivation are adopted.Single-vine pruning is carried out,melons are retained at the 10 to 15 nodes of the plant,and each plant is set with 3 melons.The focus is on the prevention and control of"three kinds of diseases and three kinds of pests",namely powdery mildew,downy mildew,and viral diseases,as well as Aulacophora indica(Gmelin),whiteflies,and Diaphania indica(Saunders).关键词
