摘要

Abstract

Metanephric adenoma(MA)is a kind of hypovascular renal neoplasms,which is rare but benign,often asymptomatic,and histopathological examination remains the gold standard for its diagnosis.Surgical resection is the primary treatment for MA,with favorable postoperative outcomes.Clinical data of a 6-year-old male child with MA is reported in this paper to explore the clinical characteristics and diagnostic methods of pediatric MA,and introduce the first application of robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery combining with 3D printing technology for the treatment of MA in children,which achieved satisfactory results.The surgery was successfully completed with a total operative time of 3 h 49 min and intraoperative blood loss of approximately 20 mL.The patient was discharged 4 days after surgery with excellent recovery.The combination of 3D printing technology with robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery for the resection of MA in children is safe and effective.
