Abstract
As the core carrier of the dissemination of scientific research achievements,the review of research ethics com-pliance is the key link to ensure the academic credibility of medical journals.However,at present,some medical journal editors in China do not pay enough attention to ethical review,and the standardization of the review process is relatively low.There are issues such as the lack and non-compliance of ethical approval materials and informed consent.This article summarizes the current situation of ethical review in domestic medical journals,analyzes the deficiencies of journal editors in ethical review work,and proposes strategies for the construction of the journal ethical review system and the improvement of editors' ethical review capabilities.Medical journals should establish and improve ethical review regulations,clarify review standards and processes,and ensure the standardization and fairness of the review work.In terms of capacity building,editors are required to continuously enhance their ethical literacy and professional knowledge,and possess the ability to accurately identify,evaluate,and handle ethical issues.The application of technology involves leveraging modern information technology tools,such as ethical review management software,to improve the efficiency and quality of the review.By implementing measures such as standardized processes,professional training,and transparent operations,medical jour-nal editors can effectively fulfill their"gatekeeper"responsibilities,ensuring that every medical research project complies with ethical norms,thereby contributing to the high-quality development of medical research in China.关键词
