Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of kinesio taping on proprioception and knee joint function of knee osteoarthritis.Methods A total of 68 patients with knee osteoarthritis who met the inclusion/exclusion criteria were randomly selected and divided into control group treated with placebo(kinesiology tape without elasticity)and experimental group treated with kinesio taping.The tape was changed every other day for a total of 15 times.The proprioception of knee joint was measured before and after treatment,and the knee joint function and inflammatory factor levels were evaluated.Results The knee joint active angle reproduction(AAR)and threshold to detection of passive movement(TDPM)in the experimental group after treatment were lower than those before treatment and in the control group(P<0.05).The Lysholm score in the experimental group after treatment was higher than that before treatment and in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,TNF-α,IL-1 β,and hs-CRP levels in the experimental group reduced to different degrees,and were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Kinesio taping can improve the proprioception of knee joint,and enhance knee joint position sense and movement sense,and has a definitive clinical effect on knee osteoarthritis.关键词
