摘要

Abstract

[Objective]To solve the problem of low pH value and excessive concentration of Zn2+and Cd2+plasma pollutants in coal mine acidic polluted groundwater.[Methods]To study the effect and mechanism of using bamboo activated carbon as adsorbent to remove Zn2+and Cd2+pollutants in coal mine acidic polluted groundwater,the effect of different reaction time,particle size,dosage,temperature,initial concentration of Zn2+and Cd2+and pH on the effect of bamboo activated carbon adsorption of Zn2+and Cd2+was systematically carried out by using the coal mine acidic polluted groundwater,which was then analyzed by using the scanning electron microscope(SEM-EDS)and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)characterization means and combined with adsorption kinetics,isothermal adsorption model and thermodynamic model to explore the adsorption mechanism.[Results]The result showed that bamboo activated carbon could effectively adsorb Zn2+and Cd2+pollutants in the coal mine acidic polluted groundwater,and the removal rates of Zn2+and Cd2+by bamboo activated carbon were 95.92%and 98.11%respectively under the conditions of reaction time of 240 min,particle size was from 0.25 to 0.50 mm,and dosage was 10 g/L,the mass concentrations of Zn2+and Cd2+in groundwater after reaction were 0.495 mg/L and 0.005 mg/L,and the pH value was 6.21.In the actual site where the simulated temperature,pH,Zn2+and Cd2+concentrations were constantly changing,the bamboo activated carbon showed good treatment effect on the coal mine acidic polluted groundwater,and the post-treatment pH,Zn2+,and Cd2+concentrations reached the Standard for Groundwater Quality(GB/T 14848-2017)Class Ⅲ water requirements.[Conclusion]The adsorption process of Zn2+and Cd2+by bamboo activated carbon is more in line with the quasi-secondary kinetic model and Langmuir adsorption isotherm model as a monolayer chemical adsorption;adsorption reaction is a heat absorption,entropy increase and spontaneous process,and higher temperature is favorable for the reaction.Bamboo activated carbon can neutralize the acidity of coal mine acidic polluted groundwater and remove the excessive Zn2+and Cd2+in water,which is an environmentally and economically friendly adsorbent.
