The Impact and Mechanism of Financial Agglomeration on the Upgrading of Industrial Structure

Abstract
At present,China's economy is facing new difficulties and challenges.In order to recover the economy,it is imperative to break through the difficulties of industrial structure upgrading.Based on the financial perspective,this paper explores the influence of the level of financial agglomeration on the up-grading of industrial structure and provides a new channel for promoting the upgrading of industrial structure.Based on the two-way fixed effect model and the intermediary effect model,this paper selects the economic data of 31 provinces in China from 2005 to 2022 for empirical research.The empirical re-sults show that the improvement of financial agglomeration can greatly promote the process of industrial structure upgrading,and there are differences in the influence effects between the eastern,central and western regions.At the same time,through the construction of the intermediary effect model,it is con-cluded that financial agglomeration will indirectly affect the upgrading of industrial structure through the development degree of infrastructure and the improvement of social consumption level.Therefore,in order to better promote the upgrading level of our industrial structure,this paper puts forward the sug-gestions from two aspects:in terms of financial policies,we need to continue to deepen supply-side structural reform,balance the distribution of financial resources,and enhance the vitality of resource flow.At the same time,infrastructure construction should be accelerated on the basis of financial devel-opment and people's consumption momentum should be enhanced.关键词
