Abstract

Objective Blood pressure waveform signals contain rich cardiovascular physiological and patho-logical information,and continuous monitoring of blood pressure waveforms is of vital significance for assess-ing cardiovascular status.The existing blood pressure prediction methods based on pulse waves mostly require a series of data processing and feature parameter extraction to estimate blood pressure,the processes thereof being complex and the results not ideal,making it impossible to accurately estimate blood pressure waveforms with complete pathological information.To address those issues,this article studied a method for directly predicting continuous blood pressure waveforms based on multidimensional pulse waves.Method A blood pressure waveform prediction method was proposed based on Improved Complete Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition with Adaptive Noise(ICEEMDAN)and the Autoformer model.Firstly,the ICEEMDAN was used to denoise the multidimensional pulse data of different pulse types,and then the Autoformer was used for blood pressure waveform prediction.Result Experiments showed that the ICEEMDAN could effectively re-move high-frequency noise from pulse data.The mean square errors of the predicted blood pressure corre-sponding to eight pulse types were less than 0.004,indicating a high prediction accuracy of the Autoformer model.Conclusion The presented method has significant advantages in long-term series prediction based on a small amount of data.While shortening processing time,it can also accurately predict blood pressure wave-forms,and is expected to be applied to human blood pressure waveform measurement in the future.
