Abstract
The Guchong Decoction,written by ZHANG Xichun in his book Yixue Zhongzhong Canxilu,is primarily used for the treatment of uterine bleeding in women.It has been widely recognized for its remarkable effectiveness by subsequent generations of medical practitioners.However,various editions of the national higher education traditional Chinese medicine textbook,Chinese Herbal Formulas have yet to reach a consensus on the discussion of the principal ingredients of this prescription.This article aims to analyze the monarch drugs of the Guchong Decoction,considering its historical origins,the perspectives offered by different textbook versions regarding its principal ingredients,as well as the exploration of its indications and patterns.It is inferred that cornus officinalis and astragalus membranaceus are more appropriate as the monarch drugs of this prescription.关键词
