老年前庭周围性眩晕与睡眠障碍的相关性研究:基于匹兹堡睡眠质量指数评分的横断面分析
Correlation between peripheral vestibular vertigo and sleep disorders in the elderly:A cross-sectional analysis based on PSQI scores

Abstract
Objective To explore the application value of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)in elderly patients with peripheral vestibular vertigo.Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted to analyze PSQI scores of 101 elderly pa-tients diagnosed with peripheral vestibular vertigo(vertigo group)from Department of Neurology of Chengfei Hospital and 97 non-vertigo subjects(non-vertigo group)from Health Examination Center of this hospital between January 2022 and December 2023.The differences in the sleep quality were compared between the two groups.The x2 test was used for intergroup compari-son,the Wilcoxon rank-sum test was used for grade data comparison,and Logistic regression was used to analyze the relation-ship between sleep factors and vertigo.Results The total PSQI score of the vertigo group was significantly higher than that of the non-vertigo group(P＜0.05),with significant differences in sleep quality,sleep latency,sleep efficiency,and other inde-xes(P＜0.05).PSQI-related sleep factors were significantly correlated with peripheral vestibular vertigo in the elderly(P＜0.05).Conclusion There is a correlation between peripheral vestibular vertigo and sleep status in the elderly,and poor PSQI scores are risk factors for the occurrence of vertigo.The PSQI scale is valuable in assessing the sleep quality of elderly patients with peripheral vestibular vertigo.关键词
