Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of tongue pressure resistance training combined with swallowing function training on feeding ability and swallowing function of elderly patients with post-stroke dysphagia(PSD).Methods 70 elderly PSD patients treated in Second People's Hospital of Hefei City from January 2023 to December 2024 were selected and divided into conventional group(n=35,receiving swallowing function training)and study group(n=35,receiving swallowing func-tion training combined with tongue pressure resistance training)according to different treatment methods.The therapeutic effi-cacy,feeding ability,swallowing function,and incidence of the complications of the two groups were compared.Results Af-ter treatment,the total effective rate of treatment in the study group was higher than that in the conventional group(94.29％vs 74.29％,P＜0.05);the proportion of actual feeding and score of the Functional Oral Intake Scale(FIOS)of the study group were higher than those of the conventional group,and the time of independent feeding and the score of Eating Assessment Ques-tionnaire(EAT-10)were shorter or lower than those of the conventional group(P＜0.05);the score of the Mann Assessment of Swallowing Ability(MASA)of the study group was higher than that of the conventional group(P＜0.05).The total inci-dence of the complications during treatment in the study group was lower than that in the conventional group(2.86％vs 22.86％,P＜0.05).Conclusion Swallowing function training combined with tongue pressure resistance training can signifi-cantly increase the total effective rate of treatment,improve the feeding ability and swallowing function,and enhance the strength of tongue muscles in elderly PSD patients.关键词
