Study on estimation method about security coping thickness of lane pillar underground goaf in open-pit coal mine

Abstract
In order to eliminate the safety threat of existing underground goaf to operating equipment and personnel,improve the efficiency of open-pit mining and stripping operations,and ensure the safety of people's lives and property,based on the geological and mining conditions of Yuanbaoshan Open-pit Coal Mine,the article studies the main influencing factors of the stability of the roof of the underground goaf in open-pit coal mines,compares and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the existing methods for estimating the thickness of the safety roof of the roadway pillar goaf in practical applications of open-pit coal mines,and selectes the applicable method for estimating the thickness of the safety roof.The results indicate that the empty space aspect ratio method comprehensively considers the main factors affecting the stability of the goaf roof,which can be used as an estimation method for the safe roof thickness of the pillar goaf in Yuanbaoshan Open-pit Coal Mine.Based on this method,the safe roof thickness value curves of the main mining equipment on site under different goaf span conditions are drawn,which is of great significance for optimizing the goaf treatment time,avoiding goaf collapse accidents,and ensuring the safety production of open-pit coal mines.关键词
