Abstract
Objective To explore the current situation and related factors for stroke in elderly patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods A retrospective study included 180 elderly RA patients who received treatment for RA related symp-toms in Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Nanchuan District,Chongqing from February 2021 to February 2024.Ac-cording to presence or absence of stroke,they were divided into stroke group(n=41)and non-stroke group(n=139).The incidence of stroke in RA patients was statistically analyzed,and risk factors for stroke were analyzed by univariate and multiva-riate Logistic regression analysis.Results Among the 180 patients,the incidence of stroke was 22.78％(41/180).There were significant differences in age,course of disease,score of Disease Activity Score-28(DAS28),homocysteine(Hcy),C-reactive protein(CRP)and D-dimer(D-D)between the two groups(P＜0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that Hcy,CRP and D-D were independent risk factors for stroke in RA patients(P＜0.05).Conclusion The risk of stroke is high in elderly patients with RA,which may be related to Hcy,CRP and D-D.Clinically,the above factors should to be payed attentions to and intervention should be taken to reduce the risk of stroke.关键词
