Abstract
An ultra-supercritical boiler has been in service for 26 000 h,and the high temperature reheater pipe made of S30432 material has exploded and leaked during the operation.Through macroscopic inspection,chemical elements analyses,mechanical properties tests,metallographic test,and energy spectrum analysis,and compared with adjacent pipes,the results show that the grain size of the failed pipe is too fine compared with that of the contrast pipe.Under the same high temperature service environment,the second phase precipitates and grows,forms into creep cavities.The metallographic structure is seriously aging,resulting in the material strength and plasticity decline,and finally when the finial strength of a steel pipe fails to meet the required service strength,the tube bursting occured.关键词
