The Impact of Female Executive Participation on Corporate Technological Innovation
摘要
Abstract
To explore the impact of female executive participation on corporate technological innova-tion,Empirical analysis was conducted based on the panel data of A-share listed companies on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges from 2010 to 2021.The results show that the participation of female executives has a significant positive impact on corporate technological innovation.Further analy-sis found that overseas background positively moderates the positive correlation between female execu-tive participation and corporate technological innovation;that female executives promote technological innovation through strengthening internal controls;that the effect of female executive participation in promoting corporate technological innovation is more significant in non-state-owned enterprises and samples with high market competitiveness.Accordingly,this paper puts forward policy suggestions to promote enterprise technological innovation and enhance the main position of enterprise innovation by increasing the participation ratio of female executives,attaching importance to the introduction and cul-tivation of returnee female executives,optimizing the internal control system,and implementing the se-lection policy of female executives in combination with the characteristics of enterprises.关键词
